HwanHei is a Korean Jindo mix being fostered by Jin-Sohl Jindo Dog Rescue, which is located in Southern California. HwanHei is a young adult female. She is 18 inches tall at the shoulders and weighs 36 lbs. She is altered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated as well as housetrained. Abandoned at the Ventura shelter when her family moved to the Philippines, HwanHei is now looking for a new home to call her own.
This friendly young lady just want to cuddle with people, romp, play, give out kisses, and zoom around the yard. Not the slightest bit reserved, she loves meeting new people and going new places. HwanHei has a wonderful temperament and a very happy outlook on life. She knows “sit” and looks to her owner for approval so we believe she would excel in an obedience class and benefit from formal training. While her exuberance may make her overwhelming for youngsters under 5, HwanHei’s previous owners specifically noted she is good with children.
HwanHei does not appear to have much experience
or socialization with other dogs. She is somewhat submissive and unsure,
so it might be possible for an experienced household to integrate her with
a calm
She is thriving on the exercise, and would
enjoy an active household. As with most Jindos, HwanHei has a high prey
drive and does not do well with cats.
This little girl is a character with personality
plus and a great desire to find that perfect special person or family to
call her own. Her name “HwanHei” (or Hwanny) means joy, delight,
or glee.
