Available Jindo:  Seolhee

SeolHee is a stunning white Jindo being fostered by Jin-Sohl Jindo Dog Recue, located in Southern California.

Turned into the shelter by her owner, SeolHee is a victim of the housing crisis. When her owner had to move into an apartment, one could not be found that allowed dogs. For SeolHee this meant a trip to an overfull shelter where she quickly became a staff favorite.  When her time was running out the shelter sent a special request for rescue to step in. Now she's looking for a new home to call her own. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, learning about crates, and is housetrained. Our best guess puts her at about 3 years old.

SeolHee weighs about 35 pounds and is a very typical female Jindo. Though reserved when she first meets someone, she is quick to give out kisses – lots and lots of kisses. SeolHee is a very happy dog and delights in any attention. She can be very exuberant, but also knows how to settle down and enjoys just spending time with her people. She loves going for walks, knows “sit” and is working on “down”. She has not had any formal obedience training and would benefit from the structured exposure an obedience class would give. SeolHee is a stunning girl with an absolutely classic Jindo personality and the softest plush coat. She has quickly become a favorite in her foster home, and with everyone she meets.

SeolHee would prefer not to have to share her home with any other canine companions. She has prey drive typical of most Jindos and is not good with cats, small dogs, or other small animals.

SeolHee means “Snow” in Korean. A very appropriate name for this little treasure. SeolHee has an old eye injury which doesn’t cause her any issues.
